Linton Park Campus is proud to be taking part in the 2016 Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.
The Legion originally created the Poppy Appeal to help those returning from the First World War. A century on from the start of that conflict, they are still helping today’s Armed Forces’ families in much the same way: whether coping with bereavement, living with disability, or finding employment.
Our Student Council representatives will be leading this year’s Poppy Appeal and we would hope to raise as much as possible for this excellent charity that supports those who have suffered in the defense of the nation as members of the Armed Forces.
We ask everyone to wear a poppy to show support and an assembly will be held on
FRIDAY 11th NOVEMBER
when there will be a two minute silence to take the time to remember with respect the losses all humanity has had in armed conflict.
PLEASE HELP TO SUPPORT THIS APPEAL!
